Portugal

The single pan-European emergency number 112 is operational in Portugal and is the only emergency number in use. The emergency service is organised in 25 PSAPs at level 1 and approximately 80 PSAPs at level 2, which is all organised regionally. 

As the system overview illustrates below, Portugal is currently incapable of receiving or handling E112 calls. Only the voice connection using 112 is available and moreover there is no data connection between the PSAP 2 and emergency service vehicles.
